Several years ago we developed our own vacuum insulation core material that recently allowed us to improve our performance from a thermal conductivity of 0.025 BTU-in/ft²-hr-F (3.6 mW/m-K) to a thermal conductivity 0.020 BTU-in/ft²-hr-F (2.88 mW/m-K). We are working towards making further major improvements in performance and cost effectiveness of our vacuum insulation cores. The improvements we have made in our core material have led to our position as a leader in vacuum insulation panels.

Another distinct advantage of our core material is that it allows us to customize shapes to fit an almost endless number of applications.

Part of what makes our core unique is that at the end of the VIP’s useful life the core material is 100% recyclable. This is another step to environmental and energy conservation through circularity.
